Is this information just stored anecdotally? I looked at the malloc man
page and /usr/src/UPDATING , and while UPDATING has a mention that some
malloc flags are on, I can't seem to determine which ones they
are.

Am I looking in the wrong places?

If not, should this be documented? (Or perhaps, the flags set in
/etc/malloc.conf as the man page indicates?)

Or am I just being a weenie?

I'm happy to write the text for the man page, but I honestly don't know
the facts.
