And we're also not supposed to get into stupid, absolute arguments.
All disk media is unsafe to some degree or another.  It is the degree
of the unsafeness that can be controlled.  To pretend otherwise, and
yell about how 'unsafe' it is really is counter productive.  The
current setting represents a compromise between many competing factors
and now is not the time to reopen the debate.  We've fought this war,
it is resolved.  Time to move on.
