technically that's in the (rather large) section of the x.org changelog
cut/pasted from the xfree86 changelog. But the definitive reference is
http://invisible-island.net/xterm/xterm.log.html

however, in #192, I went to a compromise rather than the original colors.
using the old defaults of course, you won't provide useful feedback on
the new defaults.
