ACPI degrading.. ?

Ahh, ok.. great.. Thanks Nate!  I'm also waiting for the preemption 
stuff to settle down.. killing my laptop 10 times in one day isn't my 
idea of fun.. :)  Although, it only ever happened when Firefox was 
running..
