I had run tests with a fresh -current a few minutes ago. The overall
feelings with the sound system is much better as in 5.2-RELEASE. The
recommend Kernel-Options were set.

The "Danger!" message wasn't appeared, but I got the following on the
console.

malloc() of "1024" with the following non-sleepable locks held:
exclusive sleep mutex pcm0:play:0 (pcm play channel) r = 0 (0xc2be8a80)
locked @
/storage/os/src/freebsd-current/src/sys/dev/sound/pcm/buffer.c:195
malloc() of "4096" with the following non-sleepable locks held:
exclusive sleep mutex pcm0:play:0 (pcm play channel) r = 0 (0xc2be8a80)
locked @
/storage/os/src/freebsd-current/src/sys/dev/sound/pcm/buffer.c:195

I had running three copies of mp3blaster at the same time for 30 minutes
without any failures. hw.snd.pcm0.vchans was setted to 5.

best regards,

	Gordon
