Login.conf Problem

Been playing with FreeBSD 5.x for a while and can't seem to get the 
passwordtime thing to work in login.conf was wondering if this will ever get 
reimplemented or and i stuck making a shell script to do the passwordtime 
thing ? ant help or information is appreciated.
