Quick update.
Back in July when I first installed FreeBSD 5.1 on my N610c
I had to install a modified acpi_dsdt.aml to get various things to work.
I recently had to reinstall FreeBSD (a Windows reinstallation clobbered it)
and with 5.2 (just before xmas) I no longer need the modifed acpi_dsdt.
Looks like most recent acpi stuff can handle things better. Thanks!

Resuming after supspend still broken but with hw.acpi.reset_video=0
I do see (in /var/log/messages after power-off/reboot) :

Jan 2 17:26:41 K9 kernel: pcib0: slot 31 INTA is routed to irq 10
