I tryed to mount this file system it is an empty filesystem in msdos formated by a mambox machine. I had formated and compresed to reduce the size of the partition.

mount returns the following message:

#mount -t msdosfs /dev/da0s1 /mnt
msdosfs: Illegal argument

#uname -a
FreeBSD Olea.Bosc 5.2-RELEASE FreeBSD 5.2-RELEASE #6: Tue Jan 13 00:02:07 CET 2004 root at Olea.Bosc:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/OLEA i386

But the current happend the same.

Linux 2.6 can mount it, i don't try with 2.4 or mswin.

the attrachment is:
dd if=/dev/da0s1 of=msdos.dump; bzip2 -z9 msdos.dump

If anybody can mount it (don't worry if it is empty), tell me please! :)

Thanks. bye!
