Odd quirks after updating to 5.2...

Ever since I updated one of our other boxes from 5.1 to 5.2, I have been 
having issues with the periodic processes not finishing up properly, 
which after a week or so fills up all the permitted forked processes, 
and then causes FreeBSD to deprive itself of resources.

I also have seen the system freeze at least once during a make 
installworld, perhaps it fall under this?

The box is a Dell PowerEdge 1650, and has run 5.x flawlessly beforehand 
for over a year. (this isn't the same box that handles part of 
ftp.freebsd.org)   And none of our other boxes that we have migrated to 
5.2 have shown this problem.
