Still DMA Problems

Dear list,

since I plan to update the system of my  my notebook, I would like to 
know if someone found a solution to the recently discussed DMA problems.

Currently I run a two weeks old current system and sometimes I get

ad0: WARNING - READ_DME interupt was seen but timeout fired LBA=41574224

(and similar messages) and every I/O process hangs.
