Nvidia drivers 6113

My system crashed at the end of the install (I guess when the make 
install script was trying to load the kernel module), printing out:

 kernel: nvidia0: <GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP8X> mem 
0xf0000000-0xf7ffffff,0xcf000000-0xcfffffff irq 16 at device 0.0 on pci1

My system was thoroughly screwed up afterwards, as most config files (like rc.conf, etc) were zero-length :(
