Well what happens to me is that its idle for 20 seconds and only then it is
mounted, and spitting out the same error to console and /var/log/messages.
Was the disk fully scanned when you try to mount it? Cause it is fine for me
when it was scanned fully.
You might also want to see my "Panic: LOCK Geom."
So its "not only me" thingy, most people should experience this (giving that
I'm the third person to report this).
