Mine does not, and I have the same question about 4.4.0. I would of course
prefer for the port to be upgraded to 4.4.0 and for -snap to be upgraded
to 4.4.99.3.
My specific problem with snap is that it predates (1) a bugfix that disables
DPMS when it is set to be disabled, and (2) a bugfix for a DPMS problem that
has actually damaged ViewSonic monitors (which I have).
On a related not, when compiling 4.4.99.3, I get:
making all in lib/GL/GL...
rm -f libGL.a
ar clq libGL.a ../../../lib/GL/glx/unshared/?*.o ../../../lib/GL/glx/glapi_x86.o ../../../lib/GL/dri/unshared/XF86dri.o ../../../lib/GL/dri/unshared/dri_glx.o ../../../lib/GL/dri/drm/unshared/?*.o
/usr/libexec/elf/ar: ../../../lib/GL/dri/drm/unshared/?*.o: No such file or directory

Peter, did you have to do anything to overcome this?
