Radeon VE won't work with XFree4.3.0.1

I had a similar problem with getting X running on my VAIO.

I finally went to Yahoo and searched for my model number and
xfree86, and found a configuration that someone else had
already worked out.  You'd probably have good luck with a
similar search for yours.
