UPDATE: panic: lockmgr: locking against myself, 5.X

After getting a core dump and looking around in gdb, something (and I mean 
something, I have no clue exactly what) told me to see if I still had a 
snapshot of /var.  I did.  Once I removed the snapshot the system came up 
just fine.
