Ok, I've read all the 1089 lines in there (right) and I see that you
are talking about the <dist>.mtre files that get build on make
release.

I'm afraid that's not what we're dealing with here. We're dealing with
make world here, which doesn't build those since it doesn't build in a
clean environment.
