HTT on single CPU?

As everyone and their brother has pointed out :-), I was incorrect. I
didn't realize HTT was made standard on 800MHz FSB machines. I was
aware that Xeons support it since I have about 70 dual Xeons running
with HTT enabled.
Any statement of the form "X is the one, true Y" is FALSE.
