Heh, ok.

There was a problem with the patch such that setting
hw.acpi.ec.burst_mode=0 did not correctly disable the ENABLE_BURST
command.  So that is why it had no effect.  I'll be posting an updated
diff sometime this weekend.  Thanks to all who have been testing this.
