Despite saying "none" in the bootloader part of sysinstall, the installation seems to have done something to the MBR of my laptop. On booting, I got neither lilo nor FreeBSD's booteasy, but some garbage characters and a hang; I needed to boot a livecd and re-run lilo to fix this. Rahul
