problems with sys/dev/md/md.c 1.108 and preloaded images

You'll need to instrument md.c and see what exactly happens, I am
unable to work on this problem right now.

1.108 was specifically an attempt to make md.c do the right thing
and it worked for me as a root device when I tried it in my lab.

Suggest you litter printfs in md_drvinit() and boot with '-v' for
starters
