This is some kind of a "Me too" message. Although the lag I am
experiencing when pressing Start or stop in XMMS feels more like one
second.

I am running FreeBSD 5.2-BETA #16: Wed Dec 3 22:23:35 CET 2003 (on a
AthlonXP 2400+ system), but see this for some months now.

My soundcard is a SoundBlaster Live! Player 1024:
pcm0: <Creative EMU10K1> at io 0xe000 irq 12 (4p/2r/0v channels duplex
default)

If more information is needed, I am willing to supply it.

Regards,
