Please don't top-post.  See how context has now been lost?

-j obscures the error output because it multiplexes different output
streams.  This may have been hiding the real error.

Make sure you have a clean /usr/obj and have a complete supfile
(typically you want to use src-all).  Also try without CPUTYPE.
