FreeBSD 5.2-BETA installation failed on VMware 4

FYI:

I've heard from vmware's guy on netnews system at news.vmware.com that
this (VMware Workstation's) bug is recognized by the development team,
and it'll be fixed in the next release (it would be version 4.1).

If I find this is actually fixed by next release and/or beta, I'll
post it here.
