Just FYI, I get the same floppy drive error as the original poster when the
ACPI module is loaded on an ASRock K7VT2 motherboard with a 900 MHz Duron and
the VIA KT266A chipset. No device /dev/fd0 is created by devfs, and like the
poster I was at first confused and thought the /dev/fd/0 was a new 5.0
location for the floppy drive.
