Their files are in mbox format, but it doesn't contain
what your UNIX mailbox would contain if you received
the message on a UNIX machine.
If you use those files "as-is," you'll lose all of your
attachments and metadata. Eudora does not keep metadata
as headers, so you can't tell what's been read (for example)
unless you can interpret the proprietary index file. It also
strips out attachments and removes the "envelope From"
information from the message (all you'll see is @@@?@@@).
A proper import utility for Eudora has to create the standard
header that gives message status, and re-encode and re-attach
the attachments.
