Almost?  I bruised my elbows when I fell.  And my sides still hurt.

His response was far funnier than my original.  (and I thought I was really
being funny ...) so I guess that makes me the sidekick?  The one that provides
the prompting that allows the true comedian's jokes to really be funny.
