Advice on how to straighten out a crappy ISP

Interesting. Two hosts here, Apache/SSL, Sendmail,
SSH, BIND; once upon a time FTP; they even handle
the DNS for one of the domains. I'm not sure whether
they realize the extent of my virthosting activity, but if
they shut down a coupla of my clients, they'd likely have
grounds to sue, by my understanding; better have a look
at the agreements they signed pretty soon, huh?

Kevin,

Cox offers business cable here too, but, at least when we tried
it, even having an incoming mail server will get you turned off.

Cox offers static IP - small business
setup, about $70/month in Missouri/
NW Arkansas.  Additional statics are
$15 monthly, IIRC.

In contrast, standard "express"
package for homes is $24.95,
DHCP, and about 10-20% of
the "biz" bandwidth....
