Windows is now smart enough to name things after ephemeral
things that encourage upgrading. You'll notice NT never got
to version 5.
I've also observed that they have gotten away from attention
grabbing failure indicators, and are now much more understated
(it helps that they indicate the fault was in the application,
rather than in the OS routine that the application called that
didn't validity check its input parameters).
