I've upgraded to MooseFS 3.0.114 and confirmed the issue is still there. I'll
try and follow up with instructions on building/installing MooseFS tomorrow.

Any chance https://reviews.freebsd.org/D26485 is related? I can spin up a local
vm and test that first, assuming it's worth the time.
