(1) probably isn't happening.

(2) is already in tree:
https://github.com/freebsd/freebsd/tree/master/sys/dev/vmware/pvscsi

(3) is managed by the drm-kmod family of ports; drm-devel-kmod is associated
with Linux 5.0, which may have some ice lake support; it seems support for more
pciids maybe landed in 5.1 and I don't know when Intel considers the support
functionally complete.
