Reporting zeroed or bogus modes has been fixed. The underlying issue (lack of
mode changing support via vidcontrol) still exists, and vidcontrol -i mode now
reports:

% vidcontrol -i mode
    mode#     flags   type    size       font      window      linear buffer
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
