You must have sufficiently new world or kernel-toolchain to built kernel from
stable.

For 11.2, the patch used horrific .byte sequences manually assembled from
source to pacify bug in old clang.  For stable/11 with clang 8.0 it is not
needed anymore, and have no intend to assemble this stuff manually.
