Thank you for writing this. However, it doesn't address the interaction between
kernel placed guard pages and pthreads. Consider for example setting
security.bsd.stack_guard_page to 513 will call all future pthread_create(2)
calls to fail that use default pthread attr (default stack size (512 pages) and
guard page (1 page)). An administrator attempting to be more secure will cause
most multithreaded applications to fail to work entirely.
