Actually, one have to set each account's locale individually, as described in
https://unix.stackexchange.com/a/484932/186590. 

When I ``su -'' to root from my daily user account and enter the same Chinese
characters, the shell exits. But in my daily account, where login class had
been modified, no issue anymore.
