I'd like to add my personal experience with Huawei RH2288 V3 machines to this
report. I can confirm that the same behavior is present on most Huawei servers
on this family and manually setting hw.vga.textmode=1 at loader prompt during
the installation and setting it in /boot/loader.conf after installation solved
the problem.
