            Bug ID: 227030
Summary: no boot with kern.vty=vt on Intel Atom E3825
           Product: Base System
           Version: 11.1-STABLE
          Hardware: amd64
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Some People
          Priority: ---
         Component: kern
          Assignee: freebsd-bugs at FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: nkoch at demig.de

dmesg.boot from 11.1-RELEASE/i386

I am trying to get FreeBSD 11-stable running on an embedded board equipped with
Intel Atom E3825. 11.1-RELEASE/i386+amd64 boot but do not recognize the
graphics hardware (valley-bridge, pci id 0xF31). 11.1-stable/i386+amd64 both
hang immediately as long as I have kern.vty=vt.
I used the latest snapshots from ftp but there is no difference when using the
latest GENERIC or MINIMAL kernel built from 11-stable sources.
