I'm having the same reset controller issue on 11.2-RELEASE with an SM961.  I
tried it on 2 different SuperMicro systems: one very new system with a
mobo-based m.2 slot, and one older system with a PCIe m.2 adapter.  Let me know
if I can be of assistance with troubleshooting.  Would really love to be able
to use this hardware.
