Interesting... That MCE report is about a correctable problem with the CPU's
instruction cache.  Perhaps, the high load triggers a CPU erratum related to
that cache.  And maybe the problems of this kind are not always correctable or
even detectable. With junk in the instruction cache any kind of a system or
application misbehaviour is possible.
