mount_smbfs(8) fails to mount a share on Debian samba server 4.6.5 with the
error: 

Authentication Error

The same share can be mounted on OS X and Ubuntu hosts.

If I switch the Debian samba server back to 4.3.11 then mount_smbfs(8) works as
expected.
