Product: Base System
Version: 10.3-RELEASE
Hardware: Any

I have a computer:
Intel DQ67SWR motherboard
Intel Core i7-2600S processor
8 GB RAM
16 GB SSD
I downloaded:
CHECKSUM.SHA256-FreeBSD-10.3-RELEASE-i386
FreeBSD-10.3-RELEASE-i386-memstick.img.xz
I extracted the second and verified the checksum:
2016-09-25 13:23:53 dpchrist at cd2533 ~/Data/dpchrist/iso/freebsd/10.3
$ sha256sum -c CHECKSUM.SHA256-FreeBSD-10.3-RELEASE-i386 2> /dev/null | grep
i386-memstick.img
FreeBSD-10.3-RELEASE-i386-memstick.img: OK
FreeBSD-10.3-RELEASE-i386-memstick.img.xz: OK
I copied FreeBSD-10.3-RELEASE-i386-memstick.img to a USB flash drive:
