With release later than roughly r283307 the BBB example becomes:

kern.geom.disk.mmcsd0.activity_led="beaglebone:green:mmc0"

With the APU led patch (see Bug 189772) an APU example might be:

kern.geom.disk.ada0.activity_led="!led1"
