Can you give more details? I have just installed 10.2-RELEASE/amd64 on
VirtualBox 5.0 without any error. 

I had similar situation when I first installed FreeBSD 8.0 on VirtualBox
several years ago. At that time, I solved it by changing the connector to hard
drive and optical drive from IDE to SATA. After that, everytime when I
installed FreeBSD on VirtualBox, I will do that first.
