and yes:

acpi_call -p "\_SB.PCI0.VID.LCD0._BCM" -i <x>

works, but unpredictably.

I can't go 5, then 99. I have to go 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, .. 99 or going straight
to 99 doesn't work.
