>Environment:
FreeBSD localhost 9.2-RELEASE-p3 FreeBSD 9.2-RELEASE-p3 #0: Sat Jan 11 03:25:02 UTC 2014 root at amd64-builder.daemonology.net:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC amd64
>Description:
Subversion is unable to negotiate an SSL connection with https://svn0.us-east.freebsd.org. It consistently results in the error:
svn: E120171: Unable to connect to a repository at URL 'https://svn0.us-east.freebsd.org/base/releng/9.2'
svn: E120171: Error running context: An error occurred during SSL communication
The problem started somewhere between 2014/01/17 and 2014/01/29. Although it looks as if it cropped up at some point earlier as well, as reported at http://forums.freebsd.org/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=44508&p=248358#p248358
Web browsers don't seem to have any trouble connecting to the same URL.
>How-To-Repeat:
Install a new 9.2-RELEASE system
build the subversion port
run:
# svn co https://svn0.us-east.freebsd.org/base/releng/9.2 /usr/src
Also repeatable with any working copy previously checked out from https://svn0.us-east.freebsd.org.
