I can confirm this still is an issue with 10.0-RELEASE isos (and with
9.2-RELEASE).

The workaround is to wait, and wait until the virtual CD is detected, and then
enter this (as mentioned previously):
cd9660:/dev/iso9660/FREEBSD_INSTALL

Do not press enter to get an empty prompt, because this will reset the machine.
This is mentioned on the console, but this BOFH hasn't very good memory ;-)

It isn't a big problem, because of the workaround, but it took me while before
I found out about the workaround.
