top has an option to display threads by using "H". 

in the display from top; there is a number followed by the word "processes" however when enabling "display threads" the number is correct however the word "processes" remains and should be "threads"

launch top, press "H"

Simple, change the printf() that displays the "processes" text based on the processes/threads display mode
