FreeBSD 9.0-RELEASE #0: Tue Jan  3 07:15:25 UTC 2012     root at obrian.cse.buffalo.edu:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC  i386
>Description:
The ata driver with an option ATA_CAM can't detect а CD device in a Citrix XenServer virtual machine.
Therefore, it's impossible to install FreeeBSD 9.0-RELEASE from a CD/DVD image.

When i'm trying to boot from CD the loader boot the kernel that can't see a CD device and can't mount root. On console I get:

Trying to mount root from cd9660:/dev/iso9660/FREEBSD_INSTALL [ro]...
mountroot: waiting for device /dev/iso9660/FREEBSD_INSTALL ...
Mounting from cd9660:/dev/iso9660/FREEBSD_INSTALL failed with error 19.

Loader variables:
    vfs.root.mountfrom=cd9660:/dev/iso9660/FREEBSD_INSTALL
    vfs.root.mountfrom.options=ro

On installed system dmesg and some camcontrol commands show the following:
