ichwd appears to no longer function.
I had previously been using it on this box with 8.2-R and 8.2-S however once I upgraded to 9.0 it ceased to function.
the ichwd kernel module is loaded, however it is nonfunctional:
ichwd0: <Intel ICH7 watchdog timer> on isa0
ichwd0: unable to reserve GCS registers
device_attach: ichwd0 attach returned 6
ichwd0: <Intel ICH7 watchdog timer> at port 0x1030-0x1037,0x1060-0x107f on isa0
ichwd0: unable to reserve GCS registers
device_attach: ichwd0 attach returned 6
This is what happens when I attempt to run the watchdog daemon:
zfs02# watchdogd -d
watchdogd: patting the dog: Operation not supported
