extended feature "Enable IO APIC" is set in
Settings/System/Motherboard.

The "panic: No usable event timer found!" may be related to the
Chipset setting on the same configuration page.  I've found it happens
with PIIX3, but not with ICH9.

Please let me know if this works around the issue.
