try to edit some file
'ee /some/file'

as output you get command shortcuts at top (as normal)
and then your file content are overlapped by 'ee' internal messages

doing 'ee /etc/fstab' you get:

instead of:
/dev/ada0s1a / ufw rw 1 1
/dev/ada0s1b none swap sw 0 0
